Sew Mama Sew May Giveaway Day

Welcome to Modified Mix, my little corner of the Internet.  I know there are so many giveaways to get to, but stay for a minute or two and check out the rest of my blog.

I am giving away a Moda Attitude Girls charm pack for you to use in one of your creations.  I usually giveaway something that I've made, but I am also a teacher, mother of three boys, including a not quite 5 month old and this time of the year is quite busy.  I'm hoping to put something together to add to the charm pack prize this week, but I can't promise.  If not, I'll throw in some other extra surprise.

100th Post Giveaway!!

It took me quite awhile, but I finally made it to my 100th post!  Go me!  It will probably take me an hour to write it in between comforting a crying baby, getting water for two boys who are capable of getting it for themselves, breaking up a fight about who gets the green cup, answering the ringing phone and the beeping dryer, and numerous other things.  (The crying baby thing happened already as I was typing the sentence!!)

I missed it!

I was a little busy on December 31st lying in the hospital recovering from a CSection and oohing and aahing over my beautiful new Baby M that I just happened to miss my first blogiversary.  I always imagined that I would have a great post on that day and do a giveaway to show my appreciation to those who have been reading my random thoughts and looking at my various projects. 

Better late than never! 

I have really appreciated all of your comments and advice over the past year.  I have been blessed to meet you and have formed some great friendships with some of you.  It is so nice to have a bond with people who like the same things.  I just wish we could all be in the same room to work on our projects together!  That would be so fun!

I know I've given a Make Life charm pack away before, but I'm going to do it again anyway.  It's one of my favorites!  The fabrics just make me smile and I hope they will make one of you happy, too!

Welcome to Modified Mix!  Thanks for stopping by!  I'm sure that many of you are visiting for the giveaway from the Sew, Mama Sew blog.  I'm so excited to take part in the this!  Please take some time to check out some of my other posts and projects.  Things have been a bit quiet here for a while due to pregnancy, but I am getting back into the swing of things.

I am giving away two of my crafty creations.  My two favorite hobbies are sewing and knitting, so I chose things that I have made with my machine and my needles. 

I will choose two winners randomly.  International entries are welcome!  All you have to do to enter is leave a comment stating which item you would like the most and if you feel like it tell me your favorite Christmas cookie.  (I am having a brain freeze in the holiday baking area!)  The giveaway will be open until December 17th at midnight.  I will notify winners on the 18th.

First I have a set of whimsical, quilted coasters.  I'm sorry to say that I really don't know what fabric line is, but it sure is cute.

The second giveaway prize is this knitted lime green hat.  It is made from a wool blend yarn and should fit an adult with a smaller head or a child.  I made the pompom removable in case it just isn't your thing.  You'll just need to untie it and take it off.  Then you could hang it from your Christmas tree or something.  The hat looks a bit wonky in the photo, but that is only because I had to have a Webkinz model it.  I couldn't find anything else.
