1st Grade Quilt Complete...almost

So, here it is...the 1st grade quilt for Mrs. Blodgett.  Sorry for the wonky photo... a certain 9 year old was holding it for me.  I still have to tie it.  That will be an easy project for tomorrow.

I know I took the lazy way out, without a real binding, but I am in the midst of correcting finals and doing all of my end of school year work.  It is a really hectic time of the year.  School lets out here next Friday.  :)

Here is a look at the back.  I did not do the school house blocks.  The teacher's aide who works with Mrs. Blodgett made those.  She did them all by hand.  I don't think I could be that patient.

I'm pretty sure that she will like it...
