I just found your blog, but the thing I love is that fabulous tote you made. I love the fabric you chose and the great corduroy trim!
What I like: I like the buttons and the background stripes. I also like the useful stuff on the left, such as archives, GFC, tags and blog links.
What I would change: can you make the middle part wider? It only leaves like four inches width for text on my 19-inch widescreen monitor. Also, I would change your banner: it is too dark, hard to read the name of your blog. Also, it lacks visual coherence, especially with that flag mug that doesn't go with the quilt square or the owl, either thematically or aesthetically or even by color. Also, I always say this whenever someone wants input on his or her blog, but I strongly dislike when music starts playing as soon as I arrive. I have like 20 tabs open so it is hard for me to figure out where it's coming from, especially when I have the volume muted and then unmute it later to watch a video or something and five blogs are playing music at once.

Love what I've seen and read. Some of which is coincidental ~ I've got 2 boys that I would love to teach German to {I'm German myself}. My hubby is fantastic and our rottweiler is my companion when my boys are at school.

I like the tutorial that you did involving your son. Try giving him some graph paper and get him to design your next project!
