Giveaway Time!!!

In honor of St. Patty's Day, I'll do this post in green!  Happy St. Patrick's Day to all of you lads and lasses out there!  I hope you've had a lucky day!

It's time for a giveaway!
Stitching has become my favorite hobby lately.  I seem to go in phases between sewing and stitching and since I love my stitching so much right now, I'd love to share it with someone else.
The lucky winner will receive the floss, the needles and the transfer pen in the picture below and some other goodies. I will try my best to sketch a design of the winner's choice.  And I will most likely throw in a small Mary Kay goodie.

And all you have to do to win is leave a comment.
Tell me what your favorite hobby is and also what pattern you'd like me to sketch if you win.
The giveaway will be open through midnight Sunday.  I will announce the winner on Monday.  I will be using the random number generator.
I can't wait to hear from you!
Be sure to leave an email for me to reach you at if you don't have it set up to show on your profile, or if you comment anonymously.
Let your friends know!  The more the merrier!

a lot of people have been talking about stitchery and honestly I am quite intimidated by it. sure I can do a counted cross stitch with the best of them, but anything else scares me! Then again applique scared me and now I am mildly interseted with the possibility of being moreso if my machine did the right stitch! =) If I were to win, I think I'd want...something to go in my bathroom, which has no theme other than sage green and soothing...can you go from there?

I have always been into crafting; in my late teens early twenties I used to go to hobby lobby when I had nothing to do to buy something just to paint it. Once I had my daughter almost 2 years ago, I wanted to pick up sewing again, I had made a few things by sewing it by hand, so the machine was the next step and I LOVE it! I have also started to learn knitting and my niece got me back cross stitching. If I won, I think I would love a picture of a spool with a needle and the thread coming from the spool; I'm thinking of getting that in a tattoo if I get that brave, but that would be a picture I could hang in my sewing room when I get one and in the mean time, remind me of the room I will have! :) Sorry for a long comment. :)

I am SO obsessed with stitching lately too! I happened over the holidays when I had to convert my craft/sewing room back into the guest room for family. I had to do SOMETHING to keep my hands busy! ;-)

I used to be a stitch-a-holic then transferred that obsession to quilting. Just before Christmas the urge grabbed me again! I am so enjoying picking it up again!

...and I've become a blog-a-holic. I am so inspired by everyone!

I love to do holiday designs, especially Christmas or Halloween.

I love embroidery, right now I'm working on embroidery designs from a book called Get Your Stitch on Route 66. Embroidery designs of the landmarks of Route 66, so far I have 3 of the designs done. I love quilting, it's my obsession. If I were to be lucky enough to win I would love a design with flowers.

I learned to embroider from my Grandma but just recently got back into it and have been so enjoying it! I have looked for a pattern with shamrocks & spring flowers in a basket or bowl for St Patty's Day, but haven't found anything that would look good in the middle of a table runner~ could you sketch something like that? Thanks for the fun! :-)

How fun! My favorite winter hobby is sewing and my favorite summer hobby is gardening (I live in New England). If I win, I'd love something to remind me of this time in my life with young kids. Or, flowers are always good if the first is too vague. :)

I'm here via Bobbi - great giveaway. I love embroidery, too, especially sweet little pics of birdies, trees, flowers..that kind of thing. Thanks for putting this together!

Hello,
What a great give-away. I hope I'll be lucky.
My favourite hobby is patchwork - done both by hand and machine. For stitchery patterns I like very much butterflies, birds and flowers.
Have a nice weekend!

Hi Jamie,
What a fun giveaway! Right now my favorite hobby seems to be encouraging my four teenage daughters in their endeavors with a little spare time to myself in the evenings. They are finishing some spring skirts. I attempted and made a small felt bird for our Christmas tree and enjoyed stitching little flowers on its back. I would love to try some embroidery. I especially like birds (love your owl!) and cats. I was impressed that your boys were stitching - good for them!

It's too hard to pick my favorite hobby... I want to say crafting in general! It goes in fits and spurts... embroidery was probably my most recent obsession. If I won this lovely giveaway (and if you're able to ship internationally) I'd love a little sketch of a camel! Thanks for the giveaway! Fun!

I've done some embroidery in the past, but now that I have grandchildren and more time to devote to it, I'd like to take it up again...so nice to have some handwork going. I'm a quilter lately and enjoying that, but I hate being off in the sewing room when hubby is in. for a design, I LOVE trees; bare branches against the sky...
